On closer look the enchanting visual of golden eyes and beautifully patterned skin of this lowly creature is revealed. The painting is 30 by 40 inches and has a minimalist shrimp colored frame. Pickle lived with us one summer in my daughter's charge. Before we released him back into the wild, I decided I needed to capture what I felt was his great beauty in ways that most folks do not see or consider.
